The paper introduces the basic information, relation at the thesaurus level, form of entries and existing problems of the Military Medical Thesaurus, dilates on the method and process of the electronic upgrading of the thesaurus with ontology tools, which make it applied more conveniently and directly, to lay down foundation for the building of military medical top-level ontology.
