The paper dilates on requirements for qualification of teachers of medical information management profession in the new era and the situation of building of teaching team, and raises suggestions for improvement, including the supervisor system for young teachers, broadening teachers' knowledge structure, establishing the teacher learning community and other aspects in the hope to optimize the faculty.
