The paper introduces definition and types of biobank and building situation in and outside China, elaborates on the application of the biobank, sets forward the existing problems in China and related suggestions, discusses and analyzes problems in the building and management of the biobank platform, including informatization building, platform integration, management pattern and other aspects.
