In view of the status quo of the Hospital Information System(HIS), the paper sets forward virtualization of the medical system to address problems, including high availability, management, failure or disaster recovery and cost problem. From the two aspects of server and storage virtualization, it explicates how to design the virtualization scheme of the medical system based on big data by adopting VMware, and introduces its virtual clustering application.
