The paper elaborates on virtualization technology and its advantages, compares the differences between the traditional virtualization infrastructure and the hyper-converged infrastructure, puts forward that virtualization should be conducted from server, desktop, intranet and extranet aspects of the new generation of hospital informatization to provide reference for hospitals in choosing proper virtualization infrastructure.
