The paper elaborates on the technical connotation, essential performance and core technology of 5G networks technology and discusses the application prospect of remote monitoring and diagnostics through wearable medical devices under support of 5G networks, etc. It points out that 5G network technology will be the key factor to promote the large-scale application of Virtual Reality(VR) in the medical field.
