The paper introduces the general situations and hierarchies of WHOART and MedDRA, which are two international Adverse Drug Reaction(ADR) term sets for commonly used drugs, as well as compares and analyzes these two term sets. It also discusses the building of Chinese ADR term system in terms of hierarchy, semantic relation, contents and service platforms.
