The paper analyzes the status and predicament of subject service in domestic hospital library. Combining with practical experience of Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University, it explores the development path of subject service in hospital library from four aspects of reviewing position, excellent service, effective marketing as well as strategic planning, thus to promote discipline development and support clinical decisions.
