The paper systematically analyzes the application and approval of China's international cooperation projects about human genetic resources in 2018 with results of study hotspots, units and regional distribution of approved projects. According to the current status of China, it gives relevant advices, including normalization of supervision and inspection both during and after the handling of matters, promotion of laws' publicity and implementation and promotion of international cooperation of national clinical research centers in the hope of being as reference for researchers in related decision-making departments.
