The paper expounds on the origin, definition and characteristics of Holistic Integrative Medicine(HIM). Based on the analysis of the demand for integrated medical information, it puts forward the measures for the building and service of integrated medical literature resources in medical libraries and points out that the service should gradually transform from simple books, journals, database to knowledge data set.
