The paper analyzes the current status of demand for medical information engineering professionals. With an example of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), it expounds the implementation plan of innovation and entrepreneurship ability training for this profession, introduces the specific building of evaluation system and model of innovation and entrepreneurship ability, which provides theoretical and scientific basis for the evaluation of innovation and entrepreneurship ability of medical information engineering professionals in colleges and universities of TCM.
