Taking Sun Yat-Sen University as an example, the paper introduces the current situation of medical information technology basic courses, analyzes the new requirements of medical information technology elementary education in the era of "New Medicine", elaborates the optimization and reconstruction of the curriculum system from the aspects of teaching objectives, contents, etc., in order to provide references for the cultivation of interdisciplinary and innovative medical talents.
