The paper collects the study literature on nursing informatics outside China in the core collection database of Web of Science, carries out visualization analysis from countries, cited journals, cited references with high citation frequency, key words and other aspects, discusses the development status and hot issues of nursing informatics at home and abroad, and puts forward some suggestions on the development of nursing informatics in China, such as strengthening the education of nursing informatics, promoting the standardized development of nursing information, and improving managers' ability of data decision-making.
