Through literature review, the paper discusses the telemedicine in foreign countries from five aspects including the development status, challenges faced by, policy changes, the implementation methods and applications, summarizes its references and enlightenment to the development of telemedicine in China from the aspects of policy, implementation methods, application, etc.
