Taking the construction and management personnel of 31 provincial data centers of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as the study object and collecting data, the paper expounds the current situation of informatization building and application of data centers from the aspects of organizational management and personnel, software and hardware construction and application, etc.,analyzes the existing problems and puts forward some suggestions, including improving the organizational management system, strengthening the training of professional talents, increasing the input of funds, and formulating the standard for opening interconnection interfaces.
