The types of health information concerned by urban residents in Guizhou province, the utilization of health information and its influencing factors are investigated and analyzed. The results show that occupation and whether people usually pay attention to health information are the objective factors affecting the residents' use of health information, and the sources, contents and ways of obtaining health information are the subjective cognitive factors that affect the residents' use of health information.
