The problems exposed in COVID-19 emergency treatment of hospital information system are analyzed. Taking the Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University as an example, the specific practice of information technology supporting epidemic prevention and control is summarized. The hospital informatization and building direction of smart hospital is discussed from the aspects of new infrastructure, business application system, information security, etc.
