The paper introduces the present situation and service path of embedded discipline service in libraries of medical universities and colleges, expounds the necessity of embedded discipline service in libraries of medical universities and colleges, analyzes the demand of document information service in departments of libraries of medical universities and colleges, and puts forward the mode of discipline service embedded in departments.
