The paper elaborates the development course of informatization building of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) hospitals in China, analyzes the characteristics of informatization building of TCM hospitals, and puts forward the prospect of development, including innovating services that are convenient and beneficial to the public, promoting the integrated and shared services among TCM hospitals; strengthening the connotation construction of smart TCM hospitals, highlighting the characteristics and advantages of TCM, etc.
