The paper elaborates the development course of information standardization of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)in China, analyzes the characteristics of development, and puts forward the prospect, including perfecting the management system of TCM information standards, improving the top-level design of TCM information standards, strengthening the talent training for information standardization of TCM, etc., so as to provide references for the construction of TCM information standards in the future.
