The paper introduces the existing mode of health information service in medical library, analyzes the necessity and feasibility of providing health information service in medical library based on Social Networking Services(SNS), builds the health information service mode in medical library based on SNS, which includes four key elements:service subject, object, content and channel, so as to provide theoretical innovation and practical guidance for health information service in medical library.
