The status quo of reading promotion on WeChat public platform of 19 libraries of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) universities and colleges in China is investigated. The paper analyzes the existing problems and puts forward suggestions for improvement, including innovating the theme and form of activities, and creating a reading promotion activity brand with TCM characteristics; enhancing reader interaction and establishing the reading information dissemination mode with TCM characteristics, etc.
