The paper sorts out the development history of public health informatization construction in China, including initial stage, rapid development stage and leapfrog development stage, analyzes the current situation and existing problems in the construction of public health informatization in China, and puts forward suggestions, including attaching importance to the construction of public health information standardization, strengthening the co-construction and sharing of regional information platforms, improving the capacity of public health big data analysis and utilization, etc.
