The paper introduces the definition and development of ambulatory surgery, analyzes the current situation, problems and demands of ambulatory surgery, expounds the design and implementation effect of the ambulatory surgery Electronic Medical Record (EMR) information system based on the practice of Beijing Tongren Hospital, Capital Medical University, and puts forward the direction for further improvement.
