The paper introduces the concept of smart library and smart service, analyzes the current situation of smart service in libraries of medical universities and colleges in China based on the network survey of 47 libraries of medical universities and colleges, and puts forward some suggestions, including strengthening the belief of smart service and promoting the construction of smart library; paying attention to the application and practice of new technology and improving users’ experience, etc.
