Through literature research, the construction situation of infectious disease surveillance systems in China is summarized. SWOT method is used to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of symptom monitoring module construction and development of infectious disease surveillance system at the present stage, and relevant suggestions are put forward to provide references for further improving the infectious disease surveillance system in China.
