The paper elaborates the development process of comprehensive statistics of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in China, analyzes the main characteristics of the statistics development of TCM, and puts forward comprehensive of the prospect, including improving the comprehensive statistical system of TCM, building an integrated data platform, giving play to the value of data elements, strengthening the construction of talent team,etc.
