Based on the practical experience of Peking Union Medical College Hospital, the paper elaborates the architecture design, function realization, innovative application of Internet of Things (IoT) technology and running situation of an intelligent laboratory management system in detail, and proposes that building an intelligent laboratory management system with IoT technology and informatization means can further improve the management ability and operational efficiency of laboratory.
