The paper reviews the application status of telemedicine based on Internet of Things(IoT)in health management of the elderly, including disease monitoring, rehabilitation management, accidental injury prevention, pain management, medication management, etc., and puts forward some suggestions for the future development of telemedicine based on IoT, so as to promote its application in health management of the elderly.
