Purpose/Significance To provide a basis for libraries of medical universities and colleges actively participating in health false information governance. Method/Process The paper analyzes the causes of health false information and the basis and advantages of libraries of medical universities and colleges participating in the governance of health false information, and probes into the ways of libraries of medical universities and colleges participating in health false information governance. Result/Conclusion It is proposed that participating in health false information governance is not only the social responsibility of libraries of medical universities and colleges, but also a new opportunity for the development. The alliance for libraries of medical universities and colleges aiming at governing health false information should be established as soon as possible.
