Purpose/Significance To explore the characteristics and influencing factors of information processing behavior of diabetic patients in online health communities. Method/Process Based on the dual processing theory, a model of influencing factors for information processing of diabetic patients in online health community is constructed, and the model construction methods, questionnaire design, data collection and model testing methods are expounded. Result/Conclusion The results show that information demand, information quality and self-efficacy affect the heuristic and systematic processing behaviors of diabetic patients in online health community, emotional support and risk perception affect the heuristic processing behaviors of diabetic patients in online health community.
