Abstract:Purpose/Significance To accurately identify the needs of elderly care services, and to provide references for adjusting the supply of elderly care services. Method/Process The Octopus collector is used to collect 1 624 pieces of text data related to the needs of elderly care services on the network platform, and cluster analysis is carried out by K-means algorithm to determine the optimal number of clusters. Combined with the results of word cloud analysis, various needs for elderly care are accurately identified. Result/Conclusion The demands for elderly care services are divided into 5 categories:medical care, life care, preventive health care, spiritual comfort, and environmental safety. In order to meet the needs of the elderly, it is necessary for the government, social organizations, medical institutions and elderly care institutions to classify and integrate existing resources, and jointly build a comprehensive and multi-level elderly care service system through policy guidance, professional training, social mobilization and other means.
